06 Days - Kenya adventure safari

  Day 01. Arrive Nairobi

Upon arrive in Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport,  Meet and greet by Tanzania Tour and Safaris Ltd Guides. You will be transferred to city hotel. Relax depending on your arrival time, have a city tour. Where I will later go back to the hotel for your dinner.  Overnight at Eka hotel (meals plan, bed and breakfast)

Day 02. Lake Nairobi - Maasai Mara National Reserve

 After breakfast at the hotel, head southwards and turn right at Maai Mahiu to ascend up over the top of the Mau Escarpment. You will have a stopover at  Great rift valley view point. Upon arrival at Maasai mara you will have an enroute game drive heading to your lodge, for lunch and leisure.   After lunch you will have an afternoon game drive in the reserve.  Drive to the great migration point. Ie at mara river where millions of wildebeest cross in search for greener pasture. You will experience I life time event, battle between hunger and death. After wildebeest and thousands of common zebra and antelopes following wildebeest in this migration, they will be waited by hungery big cats in this case Lions, leopards and cheetahs. If you will be lucky enough you will see them hunting.
An exploratory drive around the 1,792 sq. km game park with its low hills and savannah type rolling grasslands, gallery forest on the Mara River and its tributaries. Get introduced to the herbivores; elephant, rhino, buffalo, and the variety of antelopes, the Masai giraffe and the Burchell zebra. The carnivores are the black mane lion, cheetah and leopard. Also to be seen are the largest bird, the Masai ostrich, the Secretary bird, the crested crane and saddle-bill stork. Crocodiles and hippos share the river. Return to your lodge by sunset Meals and overnight at Olmoran tented camp (full board)

Day 03 . Maasai Mara National Reserve

Optional balloon ride across the Maasai Mara (US$ 450.00). you will wake up very early in the morning to balloon safaris, later you will go back to the lodge.  Breakfast at the lodge then enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Game abounds here; The Mara is noted for its abundance of lions – particularly the superb black maned males. You are also likely to see lots of elephants here often in large herds, as well as – if   you're lucky leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents.  You will have an opportunity go back to the wildebeest migration point. See the hunger Crocs waiting for the wildebeest and  zebra crossing and how they kill them. You're sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, stock up on film/tapes and enjoy yourselves! 
In the evening visit maasai village. Meals and overnight at Olmoran tented camp (full board)

Day 04. Maasai mara- Lake Naivasha

After your breakfast have enroute game drive, depart to Lake Naivasha arrive in time for lunch. for boat ride and fishing.  Later afternoon drive back to the lodge for your dinner. Dinner and overnight at Sawela lodge (full board).

Day 05. Lake Nakuru National Park

Waken by marching rhino and sounds of birds. Have breakfast at your lodge. drive towards Nakuru. Drive through the park and arrive at your camp in time for lunch. Have an afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park.
L. Nakuru is a small park with over 50% of its area covered by the Lake.  Located in the middle of the Rift valley, L. Nakuru has a wide variety of animals which includes the Rothschild Giraffe, Lions, White and Black rhinos as well as the Leopard.  All these can be spotted depending on your luck.  The park is also considered by birdwatchers as an ornithological paradise! A myriad of both Greater and lesser flamingoes has made this lake their home.
Later at evening return back to your lodge for an overnight. Dinner and overnight at Sawela lodge (full board)

Day 06. Depart

Enjoy your morning breakfast, later check out and depart Nairobi, where you will be transferred to the Airport for your home flight.
